BattleBots might have a giant nut, but we all know which competition has the most nuts.
i'm assuming they're both BLAZE alumni (FRC 3184) given the hat and pants very cool
Clyde is such a great design. The Dustpan and Flamethrower work so great together to control, pin and cook. I loved seeing this bot for the first time in Nov 2021, and to see it grow into a champion bot and helping make flamethrowers meta in Beetleweights makes me so happy. Congrats guys! I can't wait to see what comes next for Clyde.
Just the right amount of thermal tape/plastic to survive the heat of its own flames for the duration-and probably not a lot more.
those kinda torches only do heat damage so its probably fine... the one we made actually cuts.. hydrogen torch lol
@@HarmonRAB-hp4nk Oh, for sure. Yellow/red flame isn't hot enough to melt anything but plastics (and some electronics).
Think they should rename Scamble to Pancake

Jelly Baby isn't the name of the robot. It's who NHRL chose to man the camera that fight.
if i had a wood pigeon for every time a robot called eruption won a robot fighting competition, i would have 2 wood pigeons.

YES! I hoped the Giant Nut would thread onto the Giant Bolt when I first saw it.

The screw is from the Desperado tournament
The bolts are from if you win a special award (HUGE got one for Best Design 2018) or the desperato. I know you might know this now but none of the replies answered the question
